Why did you decide to work with Annie Jennings PR for your publicity ? What was the clincher?
Annie Jennings PR came highly recommended, as she is regarded as the best in the business. I was advised the radio campaign would be spot on marketing my upcoming book “Naked and Transparent: Six Vital Tools for Knowing Yourself ” and “Attracting Healthy Relationships” which will be released in a Feb 2015.
Why did you sign on for a radio talk show campaign before the book was available?
I knew that I could create buzz surrounding the book beforehand, but even more valuable was building up my credibility with the media. With help from Annie and her team, I drew upon my experience and credentials to impart insight and advice to listeners, hopefully changing lives!
How was your experience working with the radio talk show booking team?
I enjoyed it immensely. Furthermore, Stacy and Jason are consummate professionals who displayed an extraordinary work ethic in seeing my vision realized. Although they have many clients, they treated me with a great deal of care and passion, always making me feel like priority one. Their quality of work is unmatched.
What did you learn from doing the interviews?
The radio talk show campaign was a such a great learning curve for me. Likewise, the ongoing media training that I received from Jason was beneficial, as previous to this point, I had never received media training, which was an eye opener. It helped me prepare and be ready for anything on air.
What are you doing to leverage your radio interviews?
I have been adding the logos of the top radio shows I’ve been interviewed on – such as CBS Radio and Fox News Radio – to my website.
Did new opportunities arise for you as a result of working with Annie?
If so, how? I have gotten additional media requests as a result the radio campaign. As a matter of fact, just last week I was contacted by a casting director looking for a therapist to be on an upcoming television series! She said my media page was impressive and convinced her that I was experienced and one of the foremost experts in the country. Annie Jennings helped make that happen.
What words of advice do you have for authors thinking about working with Annie?
Annie Jennings PR exceeded my expectations. Definitely go for it. You will not be disappointed. They are awesome! I really love working with Annie and her team.
