In this podcast, we’re talking with Attorney & Legal News Analyst, Richard C. What have you seen as the ROI (return on your investment) on your publicity with Annie Jennings PR?
The only word would be EXPONENTIAL IMPACTÂ – my social media, my website traffic. Frankly, when I started these were not the things I paid attention to because I am an attorney. I have a trial practice. I am an author. I am very busy. I am not a marketing person.
Once I started this campaign it is unbelievable what happened in terms of exposure. I cannot even begin to tell you how much it has exceeded my expectations.
Tell us about your unlimited media training that is included in Annie’s radio publicity campaigns?
As an attorney I am in a profession and I appreciate professionals. And Jason is the ultimate pro. Not only did he train me before I went on the air to go over things, Jason did a number of mock interviews with me. Jason would listen to the interviews and critique them. He would spend a lot of time. We would go through the interviews together.
Everyone has given me whatever time I have asked for from them. There has never been a time when my call is not returned or my email not returned. What I like most about Annie Jennings PR is that its all personal. I have my own practice, and have for over 30 years and I pride myself on the personal attention I give to my clients.
That is actually what I have gotten from your firm. It’s not a gigantic big celebrity firm where the celebrities get all the attention while everyone else gets crumbs. It is completely the opposite.
I came in with zero in radio and television. I was treated as if I was a celebrity bringing in the biggest business to the firm.
What was it like speaking with Annie for the first time regarding your publicity goals and objectives?
I had the initial conversation with Annie. I hate people that try to sell me things. Â I am a smart guy. I pick juries for a living. Annie was not trying to sell me things. She explained to me the publicity and marketing services she provides.
Annie explained to me the possibilities without selling the possibilities, just telling me how the field works.
One of the things that really caught my eye was when she said that the fees are based on performance. Since I am in a field where I charge my clients on a contingency fee I know the motivation of a contingency fee to do well. It’s a big incentive. If I don’t win for my clients I don’t get paid. I understand how that works.
Apparently that is very rare in the field of PR.
But Annie was more than willing to put her money where her mouth is and she meant it.
What would you tell someone who is thinking about working with Annie Jennings PR for their branding, marketing and publicity?
You want to work with people that are honest, people that have integrity, people that care about not just you but about the kind of message you are putting out in whatever your particular field is. These are the people you want to work with.
I have never been asked to step outside my area of concentration. I have always been consulted in the subject matter. They would ask me if the subject matter they were considering for a media pitch was comfortable for me.  Everyone got to know me. It was so important that I work with honest and compassionate people.
