Let’s take a look at the offer and see if it’s what you really want.
This is what THEY will do in return for your money:
1. Send a press release that “hopefully” (they actually use this word) gets bookings. And then they give you a contact list where you have to make the calls to the media.
Annie’s note: Have you ever made calls to the media? Here is how it usually works. It’s you and a piece of paper with a bunch of names and phone numbers. If you did not have a fear of talking to people before you will now. You sit there for a while staring at the names. You muster up the courage to dial their number. What if they answer? You panic. But wait, it goes to voice mail. Perfect, you say to yourself. Thank God. You stumble through a voice mail and then you hang up. It’s over. You do a few more of these. It’s good. No one answers. You’re getting better at making calls, after all, what’s to fear, they don’t answer anyway. And then you wait for the flood of return calls, you wait for all the bookings. At first you wait excitedly but you soon grow hopeless.
It’s nice and everything but it’s not worth $30,000.
