Cherelynn Baker is a makeup artist, mom and encourager to the world. After years of living a fast paced Hollywood makeup artist lifestyle she moved from the city of Angels to Arizona to start a family and settle down. Sort of. Instead of settling down she and her son started the Makeup University blog-a way of share beauty product reviews of what works and what doesn't, teach some professional technique in easy to follow steps and most importantly to encourage other single moms to keep reaching for their dreams while taking care of the family.

It's out of the passion to teach and encourage women that the Makeup University blog grew into a speaking platform for women's issues with topics ranging from bullying, eating disorders, and fitness training to the best beauty for busy moms like her; all the while speaking positive encouraging words into the lives of those listening. Or in the blog's case: reading. Cherelynn Baker still does makeup for clients, wrote a book teaching brides how to save money on wedding beauty, teaches workshops, volunteers for Tumbleweed: a center for homeless youth and also Fresh Start Women Foundation and most importantly cares for her young son.
